Scottish Fixer is led by Jack Cowhig. You deal with one person from first email to wrap, and that does not change. What changes per job is who Jack brings in around him, a small group of people he has worked with for years rather than a roster of strangers.
His longest-standing collaborator is Laura McBride.
Laura is a producer and Jack's longest-standing collaborator. They have worked together for years, across commercial shoots and their own film work, and on a job Laura produces alongside him: call sheets and risk assessments to crew, the on-set point of contact for cast and client, budget and float reconciled at wrap. On the NSS Magazine shoot she was lead contact across both days while Jack was off-site, including a pre-dawn coastal start at St Abbs that left no room for things to go wrong.
