Edinburgh is one of the most visually striking cities in Europe. Medieval Old Town, Georgian New Town, volcanic hills, cobblestone closes, and a skyline that hasn't changed in centuries. It's also compact, walkable, and logistically manageable in a way that London isn't.
I'm based here. I know the city inside out, from the obvious locations to the ones that don't show up on location library searches. I know which streets need council permits three weeks in advance and which don't. I know which closes are quiet at 6am and which aren't. I know where you can park a unit base in the Old Town without blocking a bus route.
